@artoshea I couldn't agree more. It is wonderful that this family have achieved this and have been allowed by circumstance to do so. In the UK I recently read of a family who were attempting to live off grid on a plot of land that they themselves own, and the local council have taken the family to court in order that they may evict them from this land and bring them back into the system. The attitude this family faces is one of "you should live off benefits and live on takeaways".

@beggarz ... I should add that this does not stop courts from ruling against you in a criminal fashion.... so do a lot of research before you take on the mob!!

@FrSabaechit The truth is, if you earn cash, there is no valid law that forces you to pay taxes - payment of taxes is a contract you have (probably unknowingly) agreed to, and thus you are being sued for contract violation, not charged with any crime.

I've heard of admiralty law. I've adopted seeing myself as Sovereign Individual for along time. Reminds me of Carlos Casteneda/Don Juan's Recapitulation, stripping away one's history, to find the true self. This guy has a lot of guts, and it takes alot of strength to take a stand like this. Very educational and timely with the whole Occupy Phenomenon. Yes, I agree, I am not a machine. I am a divine being. I have choice!
