New York filmmaker Ry Russo-Young and actress Stella Schnabel (daughter of director Julian Schnabel) worked together in developing the character of Shelly Brown, protagonist of You Wont Miss Me. Shelly is on a quest for a sense of identity and a purpose in life, and has just been released from psychiatric care. A kaleidoscope portrait full of an adolescent longing for acceptance and social affiliation and expressing what it means to be young today reflected in the films use of YouTube, video chats and camcorders.
USA 2009, 81 Min. B + R: Ry Russo-Young. D: Stella Schnabel, Simon OConnor, Zachary Tucker, Borden Capalino. (engl. OF)

@TheSoybeanEngineer somehow it reminded me of the score of the movie "Angels of the universe" performed by Sigur Rós. For example the tracks entitled "Death Announcements and Funerals " or "Colours". Both have kind of the same mood. I don't know if you're already familiar with these but they're worth a look.

@matheattila86 It's an original score by Will Bates. If you are looking to find it or download it though it's not available. Hopefully soon.

@TheSoybeanEngineer I'd also be interested in the song that plays in the background. Could you let me know if you find out something? Or anybody else. Thanks!
