  • LOL It's to bad you had that "hand held wind meter" facing in the wrong direction because I'm sure by the sound of wind passing the camera it was way more than 15mph were you were standing. or maybe that was knots and your just stupid.

  • I think it has to do with a safety feature so it doesn't tear the turbine up from spinning too fast in very windy conditions.

    I know on some of these, they can be locked with a brake so they won't spin in high winds and fly to pieces. There's a sensor that locks the unit automatically.

  • Why is it turned off so often on windy days?
