Convesrsion of a Phase II manual rotary table to CNC 4th axis using a Keling 640 oz-in stepper and RW bellows coupling and custom adaptor machined from Fortal alloy. First in a two part series, in this video I try to show the parts and design intent, how it improved over my first design, and the assembly sequence. Part II will cover building the the control box, settings in Mach3, motor tuning, and backlash compensation.,

  • Fortal Alloy AKA 7075. See wikipedia

  • what type of alloy is it? you said it but it was not coherent.
