  • One of the benefits of Project 23 over our old work in Pit 91 is that with P23, we have geology from a variety of different deposits and depositional situations, as opposed to just the one with Pit 91. So, yes were finding out all sorts of new information about how asphalt deposits form, and what Pleistocene Los Angeles was like. However, we wont be able to say anything for sure until weve spent some more time identifying microfossils in the lab.

  • These videos are all great to watch.

  • Too cool. Have you been able to learn anything new about the geology of the site or the ecology of the region? I'm particulary interested if you might have found any clues as to the cause of the extinction.

  • where is the picture of moi ?
