It's interesting that this balance happened on December 31st (New Year's Eve), when there is so much positive energy in the world, as the world celebrates the coming year. It would make sense that the energies would balance out at THAT time. There is so much negativity in the world daily, and on that day (New Year's Eve), more positive energy was released by humans, therefore creating a balance. We should look at the phenom on other holidays that the ENTIRE world celebrates and see what happens

its still relative. What's positive and negative in this world may both constitute one polarity in another gone so far one way or the other that we can't even imagine it. Just like a bowl of lukewarm water is hot compared to cold water and cold compared to hot water....its all just water...or energy. Look beyond duality, the left and right hand, to the central body which connects them.

Agreed. We do, however, feel the effects of the hot and cold very distinctly, and any extreme is painful. Finding the balance is always the answer!

What are the negative energies verses the positive energies? Outside forces or forces here on Earth? And what does it mean for each that these energies have split?
