That almost made me cry... I've been through a very similar experience recently. Thank you for sharing, that was really beautiful.

I want to share something that makes me sad about our world. From the time I was a little girl I envied my close cousin. She was always so pretty, much prettier than me. Everywhere we went together I always felt ugly next to her. She had a perfect face, a hot body, guys were always staring at her & calling her hot. Years later, I bumped into someone who knows my cousin & asked after her. I found out she wants to get a boob job. She's not happy w/ herself. It made me sad bc she's perfect to me.

wow...as soon as i finished watching...i started taking off my make-up. I FEEL beautiful without make-up! Thanks for posting this. I feel so inspired.
We don't need make-up to be beautiful.
Just feel it.

I relate to this well. I have lived my whole life care free until I got older. I live around beautiful girls and perfect lives. I feel like no one likes me and that I am ugly. Even magazines and tv hurts me even more. I know most of the beauty is covered by editing and makeup but my mind thinks otherwise. Most days I feel pretty, until one guy comes up to me and tells me how hot this other girl is and how much he loves her. I'm glad I watched this video.

I can really relate to this. great video

@ieatworms96 Take me with you!! (back in time)

I understand why the dialog only consisted of "I am beautiful" and "I am not beautiful" but rather than increase the power of the simple message it made it repetitive and hard to endure. The message would probably be more powerful if the woman critiqued little details about herself and went through more steps them eyeshadow and mascara(blush, hair, foundation) have it in fast motion and her ending sad and saying "I am not beautiful" then reverse the changes and go back to when she was happy and

This makes me feel better. This makes me feel beautiful.

This is really powerful, I thought I was the only one that went through that emotional journey in the mirror

though it didn't need to be quite so long... that was really cool, I swear I do that every day.

You're very mature for someone of your age, wish I was like that when I was 16 (only 3 years ago:P) I used to wear make up if i'd walk my dog for 10 minutes in the evening, when it was already dark outside.. since a year or so, I sometimes go to school without make up and people actually treat me the same, if they already notice. Why do (only) women have to wear make up to look beautiful? We must stop wasting so much time in it or at least when wearing it, remember that we're already "beautiful"
-
excellent point !!

Questo video è inquietante!!!!!

Thank you, this video has really made me think diffrently = ]
Wow nobody seemed to get this video... I love it. From the moment we are born we are perfectly beautiful creations... but then our culture says, "you have to be thin, wear makeup, have big tits, have nice clothes, Wear MakeUp, Be Thin, No Wrinkles, WEAR MAKEUP, BE THIN, GET A BOOB JOB!!!"
You are beautiful just the way you are.

Almost every woman goes through this practically every day, it's amazing how easily we could make ourselves feel so unattractive. If we tell ourselves every day that we are beautiful, we will ultimately feel beautiful. But most of us tell ourselves how we're not beautiful and we feel, indeed, unattractive.
This is absolutely touching, and I believe every woman should see this, it has certainly helped me with my self esteem. :)
