  • Martha seemed like a marvelous idea that was never realized. I think the writers had a choice between taking a science fiction approach to the character--scripts where we see Martha develope as a scientist and Doctor--or a soap opera where Martha competes for the Doctor's heart and loses, and they opted for the Soap--too bad they couldn't combine both. And I could listen to David talk all day.

  • I didn't watch season three when it originally aired, but after recently seeing it--I have to say I really like Martha. She was wonderful!
