Volchenkov hits Cammalleri hard

Huge hit by Anton Volchenkov on Mike Cammalleri. Both players have to leave the ice injured after the hit. January 30, 2010.

HAHA dirty hit seems to me cammalleri ran into volchenkov because volchenkov slapped the puck away to break up the play. Volchenkov was prepared for a hit from cammalleri. Dirty hit no, but it did suck that cammalleri got hurt because of it

@EyesOfTheSouthSTi No, there was knee contact, with no matter force is still technically illegal, had he gotten straight up from the hit they would have carried on, and it would look completely clean as no one would be looking for illegal contact, but technically he still made knee contact and he got injured when there was even just slight contact, I'm saying if they didn't investigate it so thoroughly (which tye wouldnt if he was fine) then it would be accepted as clean.

very subtle knee contact, im sure the impact didnt agitate his knee much, but watch it sling back and the foot slam into the board, sure that had something to do with it, had they not been injured the hit would look 100% clean
