It just goes to show that you don't need a Mesa Boogie guitar amp to get a great Disturbed sound! You just need a few audio processors and a couple of parametric equalizers and a TON of tweaking time! And yes, I know, the solo is not correct, I just can't play it yet so I made something up on the fly! ( p.s.- copyright people, don't waste my time, because that is NOT the full original track in the background; fair use!)

Not a bad sound man. What is does your signal chain look like. Are you using a sonic maximizer and are you running direct into the recording system?

Thank you =) Here's the complex chain. Guitar>>Digitech Bad Monkey>>Digitech RP-80>>Behringer Mixer>>(tweak the eq)>> into E-MU 1212m audio interface>> digital 4 band parametric eq>>noise gate>>out of 1212m>> into BBE 442i>>into MacBook Pro to record the final signal.

The only way to get a Mesa sound without paying for one, and make it sound good, in my opinion, is to use outboard amp modeling, then run that into an eq to shape it and then run that all into a BBE to make it sound crisper.
