  • Feature request: Email a PNG version of a picture.

Feature request#2: Export drawing as an SVG file that can be emailed and that can be edited in Adobe Illustrator. Thanks for your time. BTW the pencil metaphor is great.

  • @eastmanweb Emailing png or jpg will be in the next upgrade. We are focusing on bitmap editing right now, so vector/path based files will have to wait a while longer.

  • it would be neat if you could rotate the pencil to fit an angle that matches someone who is a lefty or just likes a different writing angle.

  • Luckily, the iPhone isn't bolted down, you can turn it to whatever angle you like... but we are looking at letting you rotate the drawing to compensate. This angle of the pencil was chosen because the screen is longest along this axis so you maximize the drawing area. If it points sideways it is very difficult/constraining to draw (we tried it).

  • Excellent feature. I have not purchased a smart phone yet because I depend on the NotePad application with my old Palm Zire 71 which lets me draw very easily. I have asked many people how to draw on a smart phone with detail and no one knew a solution. I will start to spread the word.

    Thanks,

    Tony

  • MAKE PS FOR IPHONE PLEASE!

  • Sorry that May release didn't work out. There were several memory problems with the move to color, but I think we have them sorted out. Finishing things up now and will submit to Apple in October (unless some major problem appears during testing! Fingers crossed).

  • Price depends on what country you are in. In the US it is $4.99 (the cost of a fancy coffee drink, some have said). As we add more features we might eventually release a free basic version so people can try out the pencil before they buy.

  • Is this app available for free? And if not, how much does it cost?

  • I want to steal your pencil feature for TrippingFest. It is hawt.
