Here are some more advanced push-ups to play with. I love Youtube and all the great things that are posted. They have reminded me of a lot of things that I did when I was training on the National level as a gymanst.

  • Love your work Tara. Given me, who has a very large repertoire of exercises in his 'bag', lots of other things to think about. Thank you and keep up the great work.

  • @40Scotty

    Thank you! There is so much out there to learn. I am glad my vids have been helpful to you.

  • Wow, you're pretty awesome. Axe skills, enough strength to swing a huge sledgehammer, and great push-ups. A shame more people can't be as passionate about fitness as you are :]

  • @DemonNinja93 Thank you. Movement has been my life long passion. The older I get the stronger it gets!

  • If you want to increase how many push-ups you can do, what's the best way to train?

  • @ganyuehan Are you talking about consecutively or with rest periods? First of all, much of the effortless effort of push ups comes from core strength. That is what really assists me so that it is not all in my arms. Full body engagement - lats are key here as well. Start training maybe in sets of 5 or 10. Execute the push ups at 60-80%. You don't want to train to failure. Train in perfecting!!!

  • Have you ever considered karate or any other type of martial art? I thought I was in good shape until I started taking it and I simply feel better now. Of course, there's the downside of having the urge to constantly practice, which attracts a little too much attention in public., :p;
