I am always surprised by William Gibson's height. Good thing he is a calm, peace loving person and not some big ass burly biker type you wouldn't want to piss off in an alley.

Wild Palms was one of the best and most underrated mini-series (or series for that matter) that has ever been aired. Way ahead of its time and story being too brilliant for most critics to like and too complicated to short-attention-span mass to follow...pure jadarite you don´t see on TV anymore...

One big thing this series got wrong - in the year 2004, Feech Lamana was busted with a stolen truck full of those new, futuristic "plasma TV's" in his garage, which was a violation of his probation, and he was sent back to jail instead of being a bigwig like in Wild Palms.
He was set up by Tony Soprano b/c Feech didn't know how to keep his mouth shut and obey Tony.

I guess the same folks who appreciate a browser that can remove those damn "rich media" animated ads on almost every site you go to - it's like a bunch of little kids screaming & waving their hands while you're trying to read.
