My thoughts on whether Planet Earth has enough resources to sustain the growing human population.

This is the mind set the elite have about the world population.

  • even if the population leveled out tomorrow it would not be able to be sustained,.. the only reason for the current population level is the energy that oil provides,.. since it is a finite resource there will come a time when the machines will not be able to be ran to sustain even the curent numbers,.. p.s. we have already passed peak oil and are in decline , the decline will not be a gentle slope, it will have sharp spikes, and corresponding resource wars beyond imagination.

  • We have potential to sustain but we need to get off our addiction to fossil fuels, fossil fuels are a finite resource that will run out. Much of the agriculture today faces risk of desertification. We will need changes to the way we farm, and the way we use energy in the future. Vertical Farming, LED and other forms of urban farms will provide much of the relief related to water shortage and deforestation. The technology related to renewable have been improving.

  • 40 years from now we'll have space elevators on the Earth and Moon. We'll send self-replicating robots to the Moon to colonize it and mine it for materials. The materials they bring back will let us colonize the ocean. Our first research lab toward this effort will be made in 2021.

  • @Texasjim2007 weve got billions of years to prepare for that, todays problems now

  • @MrMentalflossed shut up you are fear mongering.....u dont understand anything

  • Its not even sustainable today!!!

  • The human population we have now is not sustainable indefinitely on Earth by current technology and even if we had the population of Lake Milawee in prehistoric Africa when that was where everybody in the human race was living it still wouldn't be sustainable indefinitely because there are things like the Red Giant phase our sun is going to eventually go into that will destroy all life on Earth eventually no matter how we conserve resources. What we need is new technology not less people.

  • "Is the Current Human Population Sustainable"?

Hell no... I wish I was never born, because I don't want to be here when shit hits the fan.

  • @1sueism1 Greenies show yet again how much they hate their humanity. If humans did not breed, we'd cease to exist. Maybe that's what you want, but the way I view human history, is we have overcome incredible obstacles and excelled through innovation. I doubt that you are a woman, as a woman with my first child on the way, the instinct to have children is one of the strongest! It's your choice to not have children, but don't tell the rest of us who believe in humanity and want to continue on.
