How to Draw People- The Basic Layout

In this video, I tackle the ultimate obstacle: drawing people!
I know that the picture does not turn out perfect for the complaint department, but I don't finish it here either.
This time, we learn how to draw pseudo-realistic people, or we put what people would normally look like into a cartoon form. This is not that common to do, as it takes a while, and my own style differences conflict with mainstream animators and cartoonists.
THIS IS NOT TO TEACH YOU HOW TO DRAW A CARICATURE.
Anyway, a few points remember about the head (as that's all I'm drawing):
- Eye line should be about half way up (or down) the head. The higher the eye line, the more evil a person looks. The lower the eye line, the cuter they look. Use this in moderation.
- Nose line should be half the way between the eye line and the chin.
- Nose should stick out of the head. Seriously.
- Mouth line should be just a smidge above the half way point from the nose to the chin. It takes a while to find the right place for it.
- You do not need to draw lips, unless your character is female. Males can have them too, but they are not always necessary.
