I guess we weren't Canadian enough? Who knew they were so good? Although KROQ, the best station ever (L.A) did play the heck out of "Antarctica." But this live version blows it away.'

I simply came to this site to watch a live cut of Safety Dance.  But I've now watched every cut there is on the film. It's addicting.

@mrsoundwave Nope noone in the band had anything to do with Roxy Music, Ivan was just a really huge fan though ;)

@ElGringonius No I'm afraid not, only on the Silver Collection I believe, but that's just a live recording exactly the same as this vid. I honestly can't believe this wasn't on any albums, this could easily have been a hit single!

Tottaly underrated. Too bad Safety Dance made such a huge impression that most people never checked out their other songs, because this one has to be the best of them.

i agree, malabosteve. this band was always much more than "Safety Dance". the guy has a great pop musicality & distinctiveness to his voice. just lovely. but just how does a Ukranian-Canadian guy end up sounding Irish?
