If you saw th "Three Divas" show at the Lunt-Fountanne Theatre the other night and felt it lacked a little punch, you weren't imagining things at all. And it had nothing to do with the cocktails you might have drained at intermission. Truth is, only two of the divas reall sang. One kinda mouthed along. It's not that Donna Summer didn't want to perform-she did. It's just that the doctors orders prohibited her from actually using her pipes. This news comes to us form Steve May, who owns Dr. Squeeze (shameless plug, shameless plug), the company hired to serve the divas healthy beverages. He said Donna was drinking loads of ginger and aloe-vera juice. Meanwhile, Gloria Estefan drank fruit shakes and Chaka Khan drank everything in sight.

This concert was 1996 December 11, in Lunt Fontanne Theatre NYC, 103.5 The New KTU Presents. THE 3 DIVAS -CHaka Khan,Donna Summer,Gloria Estefan and more more guests...Yes I remember,that D.Summer had lost her voice ...but she sang 1 song together with Chaka Khan and Gloria Estefan.I´m from Slovakia and I have beautiful memories from this concert !!!
