  • Wow. Plastics need replacing bad. Sounds really great! The trashcans were always muddy sounding. Not 2 amps though. Amp and selector and wireless wallboxes were a great innovation. They were difficult to keep fine tuned and they went back to wired.

  • Unit has 2 seperate amps, both use 6l6 drivers, aux amp has sep volume and drives external speakers.

  • @zeffer1940 No, they don't have 2 separate amps. The left component is the selector and is larger and the left is the amp. True, 6L6 push/pull type. Selector does not have 6L6 tubes.

  • @2agray Yes it really does..about 14 tubes with control / reciever

main amp and yes in tandem a second aux amp to drive addtional

speakers!! they Even made a "dual remote volume control" with a cancel

button , and 2 volume controls..google it my friend!!

  • The 146 was from 1946, the 147 was from 1947 and the 148 was from 1948. If this is a 146 then it was made in 1946.

  • Mmmmmmmmmmmmm WHITE CASTLE!

  • Actually, this jukebox predates R2D2 by a full 30 years.

  • WOW! I didn't know they made R2D2 into a jukebox! X)

  • Nice Jukebox. This one is also referred to as the "Trashcan" jukebox.
