@TheFlamer98 No it does not protect like the defender. this is just for the average person who may have the phone slip out of there hand once in a while

Hey i am thinking about getting this case but does it have the same protection as the defender. If u drop it from like five or ten feet will it protect it like the defender?????

I chose the TL instead of this just because of the cover in the back for the Apple logo. I would have gotten this if they added a transparent cover for the apple logo.

Guys I just got this case in (in yellow) and I have to say I freaking love it. For the apple logo thing I cut a rectangle out of the plastic box it was shipped in and placed it between the black silicone and yellow backing and slid it up to cover both holes once the case was put together. Works like a charm.

the hell was otterbox thinking by not putting a clear cover on the apple logo? also, the plug for charger doesn't seem to fit nicely. it's more like it's just sitting there and will probably come off while putting in/out of pocket. also, there is no belt clip/holster solution, nor a clear cover for the camera like the defender. cotton covers for the speaker/amplifier just like the defender would be great too.
if otterbox adds those options, this would be the best case... PERIOD.
