LX54GZH PVL397 - Dangerous Driving - London Central - Go ahead - TFL

This bus driver was not the best at positioning his bus safely. Firstly he positions his bus across two lanes and comes to a stop only inches away from me. I actually lean on the bus without changing the angle of my bike or the position of my arm. This is at a point where the bus driver knows there is a stop coming up but clearly he has no care for cyclists as he overtakes the female cyclist and almost instantly pulls in on her to stop at the bus stop. This kind of driving is not acceptable, the bus driver should have waiting behind us throughout if he thought the bus was stopping or could be stopping.

Well you and i must be looking at different videos. She (al least I think it's a she), is cycling along side the kerb, the bus passes her without issue and comes along side you as she cycles past you and stops by the stop line. At no time did the bus stop in front of her (or even get fully in front of her).

@stucky01 Perhaps you should continue to watch and then you will see that the bus pulls in front of her at the bus stop and she has to move around it!

@stucky01 She is in the incorrect place, and it did cause problems for her, the bus stopped right in front of her causing her to change directions suddenly. The bus should have stayed in the same lane as us and waited for us to clear the bus stop and then he could have stopped.

Perhaps if you were by the kerb and not at least a metre out, there wouldn't have been a problem. You seem to ride as if the entire nearside lane is yours alone.

@stucky01 I'm riding as taught by the national standards. If you think i'm cycling too far out, then learn how to cycle safely!

You could have just flipped open the hatch next to the door (0:49) and pressed the engine emergency stop button!

Your videos are great!

the front and rear angles makes horrifying viewing, especially in the case of the left hooks where you can see the car etc accelerate.

Did you send this to TFL?

They'll do nothing about it of course, but it just begins to give an edge to cyclists not being 2nd class anymore.
