Whenever I play this wonderful interpretation, it ends prematurely. The last notes are missing....it cuts off abruptly.

Turek's harpsichord teacher was Gavin Williamson, one of the most successful pupils of Landowska's, along with his partner Frank Manuel. I frequented their studio in Chicago in the late 1960's and was often treated to recitals on the two Pleyel pedal harpsichords given them by Landowska. Gavin had many stories of her in her prime! An incomparable artist and personality!

The edition she uses sounds suspiciously like Bulow's.

@ObeeLektro : You used the word ¨devoured¨ instead of ¨devoted¨ in your comment : ¨My good friend ... .¨

@MusicPredominates Okay!? I am not sure what your point is, but I have no problem dying while listening to a Genius.
-
@ObeeLektro : If you were a DEVOURED listener of Glen Gould you would be dead !
-
