Yes they allow boarders. This is where I learned to board in 1993!!! Damn It has been along time. I miss the utah winters. Now boarding in Cali and Try to make it to Utah and Colorado at least once a season. I'll be back one day Powder Mtn!!!
Ive skied most resorts in colorado, Utah, Tahoe and BC. This includes Vail, Whistler-Blackcomb, Deer Valley, and Beaver Creek.
I recentley skied POWMOW last spring and I rate it behind whistler-blackcomb. It is a no frills, no bustle type of place. Truly a skiers/snowboarders mountain. Forget about fancy shops and restaurants. The pow was great even in spring and this is the only place I know of where you can camp out in the parking lot. I highly recommend it to true skiers/snowboarders.
i skied powmow and it was the worst skiing ever. that is not even the resort in the pictures and the untracked powder fields are trick photography notice how the lighting is so bright that is obscures the shadows of the tracked up snow. seriously save you time and money and ski the cottonwoods! As a tourist myself, i feel that i fit in at the SLC resorts, or Colorado has some good resorts too!!!!
Powder Mtn. is awesome!!! Check out Tom Slade also from Utah singing a song called, "The Poker Donkey. It's about bad beats in No-Limit Texas Hold'em. Other songs on our channel are: Utah's Alright, a song about Utah's liquor laws... with skiing, ski jumping, etc. Footage of Park City, Deer Valley, etc. Also the Hotel Davis County by Tim Slade, a parody to the Hotel California... If you like it subscribe to our channel and add us as a fave...

How long does it take to hike across the mountain (seeing as there are only like what 3 lifts for 7500 acres?), or can you traverse it?
