The poor girl lost her Mother and comes home to find her world has been turned upside down.

The Stepmother was jealous of Aurores' beauty and because everytime her Husband looked at her, she reminded him of his wife and that special night.

i saw the original movie as a child and it scared the beejusus out of me , iwas award of the childrens aid and i was constantly told this would happen to me if i did not behave the catholic religion back then compares to the islam religion of today needless to say i dont believe in god and i certainly dont practice my x faith how can any kind of god let this kind of thing happen to a poor innocent child is beyond realety to me

This is horrific! That poor, poor child! R.I.P Auore! You are now in heaven with your mother and no sick person can ever harm you again! :) I wish I could have jumped in there and shoved that awful woman into a cell and locked her up. (I wouldn't have the strength physicaly or mentally to kill her but I sure as hell would want to!)
