In October 2010 the Royal National Mod came to Caithness for the first time. At the end of the nine day event a Massed Choirs' Rally was held involving choirs from all around Scotland marching from the High School where some of the competitions were held, to the centre of Thurso where all the choirs joined in song as a celebration of the whole event. This part shows the walk to town with three pipe bands whereas part 2 shows everyone together singing a couple of songs.

  • A series of wonderful videos - I have very happy memories of an excellent Mod up here in Caithness. I missed the parade as I had to work on the Saturday morning but had a great time stewarding some events and later on meeting folk from various parts , including old friends I hadn't seen in years. Best of all the visitors had a really good time up here in Thurso :-)

  • Thanks for excellent videos - they bring back happy memories of an excellent Mod in Caithness! Now looking forward to your Part 3!
