http://www.euronews.net/ Iran says it has manufactured laser-guided artillery shells able to locate and hit moving targets with a high degree of precision.

The claim comes as tension rises over Tehran's nuclear programme which the US and its allies suspect has military aims, something Iran denies.

With the 33rd anniversary of its Islamic Revolution approaching, senior Iranian commander General Masoud Jazayeri said: "We hope to be able to unveil satellites and satellite carrier missiles in the next 10 days."

Since when is self defense called provocation?

  • @NegativeNumbers427 Provoking how? If anything, it might just add one more reason why the US should not make the mistake of attacking Iran. That's a positive thing.

And when that tension breaks, US is most likely to put boots on the ground

  • @IAmOpenMinded

Lets just say anything can happen. It's building tension regardless.

  • @IAmOpenMinded I meant to say, "Oh YEA?" not "Oh year?".

  • @NegativeNumbers427 Oh year? And why is that? Are you enlisted, and ready to go?

  • @IAmOpenMinded

It's a reason for and against going to war with Iran.

  • @MagicVtwin High precision on taking out a tank on the battle field moving at 35 kmph or to hit enemy positions beyond visual range. What's so "outdated" about that? That's what this was designed for. And while this is not Soviet technology, the USSR had excellent weapons in it's time but no where near what the Russia of today has which in most instances out classes any western analogs.
