  • I suffer from social anxiety disorder. It has inhibited my ability to function in public. You can't understand it until you go through it yourself but imagine trying to avoid any and every social situation; always being uncomfortable and anxious around anyone. I thought I was the only one in the world who had this so I basically suffered until I was 19 when I found out that there are a lot of people like me and I got proper medication. The medication is helping me live a normal life.

  • God bless, Matthew Good.

  • I've watched this video many times. It gives me hope.

  • Thank you matt for your promotion of mental health awareness!! the new album kicks ass btw!!

  • please will someone help me to help my son. please

  • Wow. There is so much to say about the connections you find with someone's music; but so much more profound is the connection I always had to Matt's music in particular above other artists. I couldn't explain it, but I'd go over again and again in my head as I'd try to figure out what it was. Having always immensely loved his music, listening to it over and over again, I never new really much at all about him at all. I'm blown away to learn about his experiences, and relate them to my own.

  • (thanks)

  • Rock and roll, man.

  • That would have been terrible, truly lucky that he was taken to hospital in time

  • anyone know how possible it is to have a fatal overdose with atavan? I'm wondering, 45 pills sounds unbeleivably dangerous. I couldnt imagine losing another great artist to an overdose.

  • Having grown up witnessing my father, who is one of the people I most admire, go through mental illness, it is inspiring to see someone like Matthew Good, one of my favorite artsits, being so open about something so personal. Thanks.

  • Thank you for posting this, and thank you to Matthew Good for his honesty and courage to speak out.
