  • @RaMbOwgINI pantera are the desciples of dark angel

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow Meh, u seem to make sense i guess. anyways, modern metalcore suck balls like u said. Corrosion Conformity is good shit!

  • @nadman14 Nah, Thrash is Metal + Hardcore. It's, at its basic form, Metal, making it a Metal subgenre. Metalcore is, at it's base, Hardcore. It's a simple change, but it makes the difference, and just having Metal influence doesn't make it a Metal sub-genre. It's a lot easier to see when you go to the earlier/good Metalcore bands, as most today are just trendy commercial bands (most of which have no idea where the term "Metalcore" comes from, and actually think they're playing Metal).

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow well, metalcore is Metal + Hardcore so i suppose it still has metal influences. therefore, it falls into both categories. and yea Pantera are kinda crap, i like Dimebag as a guitarist though, he had a cool style of playing.

  • @nadman14 Your argument falls apart when you throw in -core bands into the "every metal band is influenced by Black Sabbath" group.

-core is a sub-genre of Hardcore, no matter how commercial, horrible and wannabe-Metal it's become, ergo, it does not belong in the same category as "every metal band".

Pantera still has more in common with 90's/2000's try-hard Hardcore than they do Metal, and they still influenced every shitty faux-Metal trend since the mid-90's. They still suck.

  • definitively one of the best thrash acts of all times

  • Hmmm... Death rash? Nasty stuff.

  • @UnholyPraises Fuck yeah

  • @UnholyPraises hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

  • f*ck yeah!!!!!
