Finally... it's one of those (drunken) nights where I just can't express my love for Joey Cape's songs, you know, I'm a Lagwagon fan since i first heard their "Hoss" album (must have been around 96 or 97) and still am, but Bad Astronaut imho just brought his songwriting skills to a new level. It's like I can take something out of all his songs which is true for me and I just love his voice. Well I should just stop babbeling but I'm really interested how you feel when listening to his songs?

You just gotta love the caper's work. It isn't music made for selling out, it's sincere, it's deep, it's worth understanding, not just listening.

sometimes I wonder why he isn't the most famous and respected musician ever.

I'm from Brazil, and I haven't ever met anyone else here who knew his work, it's kind of sad.
