Zachary Quinto talks star trek! Hey everyone thanks so much for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with the latest on the star trek sequel!

E! caught up with Quinto to talk about the much anticipated sci fi follow up and he dished on his new look...
.
He said, "My eyebrows are shaved and I do my hair in a way that people don't know I actually have my horrible Spock hair...he went on to say, It's been really great...We've been shooting for a week and a half, and it's been an incredible return to that world."
.
He also mentioned that he had no idea what the story line was until right before they started shooting...he said, "They waited a pretty long time (to show us the script), but that's because they were working on it. There was a writer's strike the first time so they weren't able to let the script evolve. Now it's really changing...on a regular basis."
.
And as far as the new additions to the cast, Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Weller and Alice Eve he had nothing but nice things to say...he said, All of them have folded in so beautifully and brought a whole new level of intelligence and sensitivity."

I just think they shud hav done a whole new Imagining of Star Trek, none of the classic characters, but just whole new ones, new names so that Abrams cud properly justify the fact he just wants to do his own thing with Star Trek now, cus thats basically what hes doing. Its only the look that is still intact with this new Star Trek reboot, the feel is completely gogne. Wheres the philosophy, the ethics in the plot. Its all action and no substance I think.

I wud hav rathered Abrams just made a Star Trek film, okay use the name, but not the characters, as in Kirk, Spock and crew, becus they arnt even nothing like them at all. Just this whole new take to appeal to the geenration of today, and I dont want that, not wen characters like Kirk, Spock and Bones r so Iconic! I want to feel that these r the same characters, even tho they're younger. The only actor who got this balance right was Karl Urban he was awesome as McCoy. But noe of the others

Well I dont know, it all seems a mess now putting this whole "alternate timeline" in wen it really just sounds like a piss-poor excuse for Abrams to introduce "Star Trek" to mainstream who never followed or bothered bout it before. Dont u remember Abrams saying "this isnt ur father's star trek". I personally hav no problem with introducing Star Trek to a whole new demographic, but if that means they gotta practically take all the "Star Trek" out, over stylize it to appeal to this group. one, klingons are in it, and two, they can't be a new aien race as the 1st movie talks about them, plus this alternate time line takes place after Enterprise. The timeline splits at kirk's birth, since the klingons were "discovered" in the 1st episode of Enterprise, you won't see them have 1st contact with klingons in this movie.
