@TheTruthHunter1 you would have to get off the boat, near the border check point. (park the boat) and get a visa and walk back to the boat with one of the border guards who mans the border before you can continue the journie. Oh almost forgot you would need a customs form for the boat and they can be a lot of hassle.

I'm sorry, it is very easy to get visa between Cambodian and Thailand. You might have to bribe Camboidian's guard at the check point to process you visa, becaue you have American's passport. Have a GREAT TIME on your vacation!!!!

I went to Koh Chang and Cambodia in2008 with my family. You can find alot of Cambodian people on the island. You can only get there by boat about 30mins from the land, My brother from Cambodia own a business in Trat, Thailand. He has about 120 Cambodian people working for him. Everywhere you go in Thailand, there are alot of Cambodian people.

@harry8292 . we are going to thailand on monday 10th jan we have planned to vistit cambodia from a thai island called koh chang, i wondered what the chances of obtaining a visa for cambodia are? as we have always stayed in thailand when we have been, do you know if it is difficult or not? thank you

i dont understand why visa runners go back to there thailand location on the same bay rather then stay for a couple of days
