cutting adhesive vinyl - Craft Robo CC330-20

This is a demonstration of the Graphtec Craft Robo CC330-20 plotter.
Here you can see the plotter cutting adhesive vinyl with thin liner, using the "Robo Master" software (from the plotter's CD) and USB port.
I bought a common adhesive vinyl roll in the supermarket and i cut it with my Craft Robo.
I have noticed that the best cut quality can be reached with thick liners (normal "sign" vinyls), but in this case i made just a test and it works!
Considering the advantages betwin the Roland Stika, Secabo Mini and the Craft Robo CC330-20, i choosed the last one because it has a good price and it have the mark sensor that alow me to print stickers using a laser or inkjet printer and after i can cut the borders using the Craft Robo with precision.

would you recommend the cc330-20 for making prints for a t-shirt?

Yes, it is an excellent equipment to cut transfer-vinyl for t-shirts, hats, jeans etc... In this case you need to buy the special vinyl for transfer (special vinyl with polyester film as base) and of course you do need the heating press too.

It is a very good machine in my oppinion. The original software is fine to create basic drawings like texts and primitive shapes like circles, ellipse, box, lines etc (ROBO CRAFT). Besides in the original CD you can also find the generic windows drivers, and with it you can plot from any software such Illustrator, CorelDraw, Autocad etc.. like a normal printer.

Other good machine is the SECABO Mini. The characteristics are almost the same but this one is a bit faster. I reccomend it too.

I would like to make some really small paint masks using this machine. What is the smallest letter size it is able to cut?

well, it should depend of the material quality. I believe that you can make letters with 7mm. For smaller sizes i would recommend the roland machines... mainly the "CAMM" series.

Craft Robo CC330-20 can it cut sticker 9 to 5(office hour) none stop?...im want to used it for business purpose. Can it take that presure

Does that cut normal vinyl, like a proper vinyl cutter or is it just t-shirt vinyl?

@2454704604 - with the vinyl you are only cutting thru the vinyl not the backing paper - leaving no loose bits flying round (jamming up the machine)

with card stock - you are cutting thru the entire card and thus you wind up with free parts jamming up the machine! that's why you stick it to the carrier sheet first! :)
