I absolutely love these automattic drawings!. As an artist I think it's all the more impressive that you add watercolour to them. By the way what type of pen do you use? Greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada!

@hannahg39 :) I'm using fountain pens. Mostly for these videos I'm using a Kaweco Sport medium nib or a Lamy Safari broad nib. If the ink I'm using is black it's Noodler's Black ink which is waterproof once it bonds with the paper. In one of my other videos I use a TWSBI 530 medium nib fountain pen with Private Reserve Electric DC Blue.

Thank you. i appreciate all the time you take to share your knowlege and skills with us. my question is what is automatic drawing? from the last of your automatic drawing videos you seem to have a style of thes drawings that does not seem so automatic, checked other youtube vidoes and would say the same from what i saw. my second question is what are you uring to draw? thnak you!

@Irvienne I allow my subconscious to direct my pen. Initially I had rules for the automatic drawings- the pen could not be lifted from the paper etc. I decided it was more intuitive to allow myself to do whatever came to mind. The coloring process is less subconscious than the drawing.

@lesleycreations mostly it's faces, bodies, hands and feet. Normally my automatic process doesn't stray much further.

Glad you shared these, they are fun to watch the process, but still fun to they too. Do you come up with things other than faces and people sometimes too?
