I can see why Hasbro never released these episodes on DVD there a disgrace to everything G.I.joe stands for. Whoever directed these episodes is right up there with Joel Schumacher.

i like how a simple piece of rope is used at the end, on the merry go round. because rope holds so much torsional force and all. i also like how dic ripped a page straight from scooby doo. you can practically hear cobra commander saying if it wasn't for these darn kids, he'd have gotten away with it.

Someone on the Long Live Rock n Roll episode mentioned it (and a check on imdb showed that Scott McNeil did play Cobra Commander but not on which episodes). For a long time I thought it would be difficult to find someone to imitate Chris Latta. Then I discovered there are talented individuals (Dr. Smoov for one), who are able to pull off flawless Cobra Commander voices.

wow... now that you pointed that out... its very easy to tell the difference.. especially when cobra commander is screaming... sounds horrible. I didnt even notice that before. Scott McNeil has nothing on Chris Latta. I guess Chris knew this was starting to become horrible and he made the right move! I would love to hear Latta's take on this. RIP Chris!

That is supposedly actor Scott McNeil voicing Cobra Commander. Chris Latta left the role near the beginning of DiC's second season of G.I. Joe. However its still hard to tell the difference since the voices sound alike.

What really bugs me about the DIC JOES is that the GIJOE MOVIE was beyong a childrens cartoon it felt very very ADULT AND RAW! Then you go to this DIC stuff and its even more cartoony than the GI JOES before the movie from SUNBOW
Taking a step, a HUGGGGGE LEAP backwards in a very bad way,
by the way Nemesis Enforcer was probably the only cartoon villian that bothered me when I was little. I didnt want that freaking guy flying after me.

For that matter why would you design such an incredibly dangerous peice of tech to respond to ANYONES voice saying "bang"? seems like one of those common sense sort of things.

This was really sad to see again. I remember watching this as a kid and wanting to throw away my Cobra figures.
They got owned by a bunch of weird looking kids. This really was the apex of the Real American Hero's decline.

Dude...there's episodes of GI Joe to be PROUD of, like "Arise, Sepentor Arise", not EVERY episode you watched when you were nine was flawless. I saw Adventures of T-Rex when I was ten, and hated it, I'd have hated this cumbersome tosh that instulted the audience's intelligence.
