  • i like how u think u know what was in lincolns head nearly 200 years ago

  • Lincoln clearly thought the black race inferior....it's amusing how the liberal media portrays him and others like Margaret Sanger.Lincoln favored colonization of the negroes and probably would've sent them to San Domingo or somewhere like that if you read his writings, etc.

  • Lincoln's nation "conceived in liberty" referred to the liberties taken by central bankers.

  • right hear and now i should just like to state to all the commentators below mine, be your statements right or wrong... read the video, listen and think, let go of the rest for now

  • Abe Lincoln was a tyrant and a war criminal along with all the union's generals.

  • This man is the creator of racism in america hands down!!!

  • Ooligan Press, the imprint for the masters in publishing program at Portland State University just released the third in a trilogy of novels about a time-traveling Abraham Lincoln. The latest, Lincoln's Daughter, continues the story by introducing the child he conceived in 1955.

  • abe lincoln did a good thing for everyone even whites i say he's best president ever!:]

  • Abraham Lincoln was arguably an atheist and he certainly despised the Christian God (as did Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine). "The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma." - Abraham Lincoln

  • That's good. I don't mean for this speech or for the sentiment to be misunderstood. As briantdt stated, it is one of the greatest speeches in American history. Even though I am not a fan of Lincoln, his presidency, and a number of things he did as president, are legacies to our national heritage that should not be forgotten. I think it is important to find the positive aspect of this speech, but please do not forget the context in which it was prepared and delivered, for it is important.
