My climb began in June of 2009 when doctors found a five inch ependymoma tumor wrapped around the cervical portion of my spinal cord, a tumor that was deemed inoperable by every neurosurgeon in the country, except for one. Since then, I have relearned how to dress myself, write, and ultimately live life in a very different way. I may have lost many things that day, but I gained a perspective on life that I wouldn't trade for anything else in the world. By sharing my journey, my climb, with you I hope that we can all find inspiration and a greater appreciation for the finer things in life.
This video is dedicated to all of my wonderful friends, family, doctors, therapists, professors and anyone else who has shared this experience with me. Thank you for pushing me, cheering me on, and constantly motivating me. It's all about the CLIMB :)
Amazing story and your a true fighter, how do I know this? I had same Tumor and could relate so much to your video. All my prayers and I hope you keep getting better every week. Your a true inspiration to everyone :) David

I was shown this link by one of the girls at church. I can understand your battle, My mom is going through the same recovery from multiple tumors removed from her cervical spine... I know with God's help you will be back to 110% as will others who fight. I wish you a Speedy and Healthy recovery. God Bless
