@InMedioStatVirtus In france the series was called "Cote Ouest"..the song was"Cote ouest...le pacifique et la mer...cote ouest,la vie passe...Côte ouest tes palaces..."cote ouest,pacific sea and the shores...West coast with your palaces...and so on...

@InMedioStatVirtus Yes i'm french and i've known this series even if i only liked the first two seasons.It was too "Dallas"'s remake.The episodes were always the same,men cheating on their wives,or wives like Donna mills or Abby cheating on his husband,sex affairs,money etc..;not my cup of tea.But i liked a lot Michelle lee and the man with curly hair she met after,and Donna mill's daugher in the show,tonya Crowe she was so pretty.The french credits is way better yes!and there are lyrics....

@uselesslop Amen to that. TV and Music have both been utterly harsh since at least the 90s. It seems like the only market for tv and music anymore are people who have either given up totally on intellect or are just that young that they can't remember times like these at all--such a shame. Warner Brothers needs to release seasons 3-14 as well--to think of all the mind-numbing horrific shows they are so quick to release yet can't release a great one like this is disgusting.

the best show ever! please bring the series out on dvd! i was lucky enought to be at a friends part where michele lee attended. as nice as she is beautiful.

The best was Laura (Constance Mc Cashin) reading "Goodnight Moon" on tape for Greg Sumner to watch after her death. I still get chills about it..I can't understand why they let her go..She was incredible..

Can't we have more good entertaining tv soap with proper professional actors like Knots Landing instead of the mind-numbing "reality" drivel we get in 2009? TV is getting worse and worse!

The reality ( no pun-intended ) is that it's far cheaper to do a reality show (you don't have to pay actors) But I agree with you most of the stuff on TV now is drivel.
