The weather in Samui was pretty grim in Dec 05,lots of floods and rain,i wanted to go there but was put off by the weather,stayed in Bangkers then went on to Koh Chang instead.

Yes lets make out we all go to to koh samui for the sun, so much more is around, me and a friend went ther in the rainy season and had the best time believable, it is what you make it, bad weather dosent spoil anything unless your weak enough to let it.

Actually because of the bad weather I made some great friends. Even though I am Australian and they are Canadian we have caught up twice since. Samui was just unusual after 1 1/2 months of pure sunshine. Haven't been back since, prefer more deserted islands, but they are becoming harder to find.

what time of year was this filmed? Sorry you had to experience that, not nice when your on holiday :( tho, you did find it fascinating ! :D

Video was shot in December 2005. Thanks for apology, but not necessary. I think I spent most of my week in the bar drinking and made some great friends there. I did find it fascinating, was on a two month backpacking expedition through se asia, and this was the only bad weather I experienced.
