If you don't have an address you can't get foodstamps and "help". Also every time you hear 'family values' especially Republicans. Guess what? getting married harms you with this 'help'. If you 'live in sin' and simply have a single mom with dependents and then I live with her you get more benefits. If they really care about 'family values' being married means you get a higher income threshold. Keep in mind we are talking about people who make very low money.

@Saebeck32 We don't really know what Bush fought for except what the media tells us. We have a limited, or rather, see through only a window. He may not have had made a big thing out of what he was doing, but we had other things going on during his presidency. Maybe he could have done better, yes. Same for Obama. I am part of the lower class, live around povished families, yet I don't exalt Govt, or Politicians asGod. We have to help others as well. So I agree with you to an extent.

@Creationcreed Bush visited and prayed....but never did anything that ACTUALLY improved their situations. At least Obama fought to get healthcare access to the poor, something Bush never even tried to do.
