So where do we donate too to help the wildlife? This vid only shows a couple of the suspected millions of animals that perished in the fires. There are so many more out there needing help.Lets hope people who have access to dart guns to sedate and treat the animals are willing and able to head out there and look for the animals who need help. I've donated to the people (who probably have insurance) who were victims of the fires and now I want to give some help to the wildlife. Who do we contact?

i am from scotland and i think australia is a beutifull place i am very sadend what hapend to the people and the poor animals how could anywon do such a thing. i wish australia luck in putting out the fires god bless

It saddens me that someone would enjoy this. How could one enjoy the plight of a beautiful habitat and the death of spieces unique to the area? To think of those animals, just makes me wanto cry. Pray that 2010 isn't as bad; we can't have another loss. It will destroy and fracture not only the community, but the indomitable spirit of the Australian and it's animals. Please, not again.

Oh dear God. This video just made me cry.

I really didn't want to see the burnt to death animals, but I know...it's reality. It was so moving to see those animals being cared for. I loved the koala under the blanket, how sad, yet adorable. Good job on the video. You gave us an in depth look of what devastation happens there. I am thankful I left a few months ago, before seeing this outcome. I got to see the beauty of Australia & want to keep it that way.

This vid shows only a fraction of what wildlife must of perished in these fires and most are still out there because the Government wont let the wildlife carers in to check for the injured. Allot will have to be put down but will die in agony without food and water. Well done and btw world, the bulk of Australians are nothing like that fire fighter who gave that Koala water, far from it but there are still a few good wildlife carers out there who give more than they take.
