I mean, to record the voice.

Genial! wish to have the mp3 to sing.

Top job Mr dhowellbassis, one of my favourite Smiths tracks, especially the outro riff, you've nailed it - rainy Manchester, circa 1986, close my eyes it could be Johnny Marr.

Wow that was awesome. I've only been learning guitar for a few months and I can only dream of being able to play that well, especially songs as beautiful as that one. Nice job!

@dhowellbassist where did you get the backing track

This is probably the best cover of this song I've heard so far, so well done! I really want to be able to play this one day as well :)

That was shit hot m8. Well done.

This is a great cover mate, fantastic. Where could i get the tab for this? The smithsonguitar site music sheets show the song with open chords (no capo) which isnt how you are doing it. I know youll probably say you learned it by ear but im still sucking at working stuff out so would be grateful, cheers!

@buckleyboyben thanks. i hardly ever "toot my own horn" but i'm kinda proud of that riff. not marr, it's me. thanks for listening.

Really nice cover. You played really nice. Amazing gear. I guess I can see a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 next to your right knee. This is one of the best amplifiers ever for clean sound and I have the information that Johhny used it on some recordings.

yeah... bought it in december. it's from the 80's and has the levers not the push buttons. for some reason the new ones sound a little different, but they do have an effects loop which i really wanted.... but i went for the one that sounded best. it's really nice set up in stereo w/ the fender amp i have. they're different but they really compliment eachother.
