  • About the throw baiting; do you need to move back at all or will the 2 weak punches push them back enough to create enough space?

  • @OpticalDecoy You want to move a little because you want it to look convincing.

  • i got a question about teching tick throws and all that without mashing. in the video it says that u do the option select grab in between the opponent is attacking. so would i try and press throw everytime a attack comes out. so say a balrog does cr. jab x 3. would i try and push throw to match his rhythm as closely as possible?

  • @tuber52 "so would i try and press throw everytime a attack comes out." Yes this is what you want to do, the only issue would be if the opponent did throw baiting. Most people don't do this though.

  • Loving these vids. You should do some strategy vids also if you're ever inclined. Would be nice to see these things in live action. Just show some matches and tell us what you're doing and why. Just a thought, I'd like to see some.

  • Very nice tutorial well made

  • lefthandedmonkey mashes the shit out of his controller

  • Thanks. This helped a great deal.

  • @mxtra22 I agree. I will buy this tutorial series as long as I get paid. For me this series worth the money and even if the author put his videos free on the Internet, I will support future efforts in producing such a good quality material.

  • @YunYunYooon

    Option Selects

(after a knockdown anyway). And general knowledge.

  • so pretty much mastering the mix-ups makes you advance in this game right? Confuse your opponents enough so they don't know what to do when they wake up. Good example would be Poongko's Seth or Tokido's Gouki i guess. Is there any general tip on how to fight against these other then literally guessing?

  • Good thing i use T.Hawk lol

  • how come when you option select between rog's jabs you're not left open to get hit?

  • just use ur imagination guys

  • i have a serious question : if i'm balrog and ryu is hiting me with cr.lp but instead of throwing me does an ex hurricane kick ! if i try to tech the throw i'll get hit by his special move !!! What do you recommend ??? i'm asking that because most of my online opponents are finishing combos which they thing that the are safe (like ryu's ex hurricane kick)

  • This is a great tutorial and it really shows you how deep the gameplay mechanics in this game are. Plus the pacing throughout the tutorials is great, you go from learning very simple things like moving with a fightstick to slowly proceeding to talking about option selects.
