  • I remember watching this, being so nervous, tired, it was the 17th inning, the bases were loaded, and Carlos Lee was up. I thought for sure when that was hit it was gone. Right off the smack of the bat I [though I] knew the game was over. Upset, I turned the TV off. Out of curiosity, I immediately turned the TV back on to see Carlos Beltran lay out on the top oh the hill.

  • Hahah that's what you get when you put a fuckin hill at the warning track in center field. Too bad for you guys in Houston.

  • @drummerstar2 howd that work out for you?

  • @G00157142 Agreed, sounds good to me!

  • @Blakep1991Lol fair enough, nothing wrong with a passionate fan. I understand Beltran hurt you guys when he left, I would have been upset if he did that to my favorite team too. I'd love for you guys to be relevant too, you're a good franchise (I called you guys a joke because I was in argument mode. And I'd LOVE to check out that stadium; it looks like one of the best in the game). You guys came real close a few years in the 2000's..so did we in 2006...We'll both hopefully be back soon enough

  • @G00157142 Alright, I get you, i'm just a really passionate fan, and Beltran really hurt this city when he signed with the Mets, and if you listen to the crowd in this video, you can see that i'm not the only person who feels that way. I understand what you said about the "bad" contracts, its just that I do not follow the Mets, so I do not know all of the players that they have signed, etc. Oh and btw, i'd much rather both the Astros and Mets be relevant than "basement dwellers", there you go.

  • @Blakep1991 If you weren't a typical youtube ignoramous and actually read what I said, I admitted we were pathetic lol. If you were a fan of a team who was actually respectable, you could say all you want...but, come on, you guys are the Astros lol. If you're gonna mention bad contracts, Beltran and Santana are not the choices to bring up...I would have taken you more seriously if you brought up Perez, Castillo, even Bay. Do your homework, kiddo. Come back to me when the Astros are relevant

  • @G00157142 We have a horrible record, but we have half the payroll that you do! All of those bad contracts such as Santana, and Beltran do you no good when your players are on the D.L.! We have a new owner coming in, which should give us more flexibility, something that the Mets don't have, because of those crappy contracts! Oh and why are you calling us a joke? When is the last time that the Mets have been in the world series, i'm certain that it was not more recent than us!!!!

  • @Blakep1991 LOL If the Mets are pathetic what does that make the Astros? I do believe our record is better than yours. I can at least admit we've been pathetic lately. Nothing worse than an unrealistic fan hating on another team. Houston is a joke.

  • Yes. This catch tougher than endy's. Endy's more pressurized because of game 7 situation.
