Shift kit, performance clutch, torque with 3000 stall ???

Cant have a performance clutch if you have an auto tranny... (auto's have many small clutches as well)

  • Lol small clutch is a clutch

I will change my stock clutch kit by a kevlar clutch

  • It appears to have no trouble breaking loose at 60. I was honestly hoping you had a metric speedometer. That's one dangerous S10!

  • its km/h people. Just saying.

  • will an s10 even hold up at 170?

  • Who cares? Why not just call them Gen 3,4,5 and so forth so this pissing match of what is considered an "LS" engine can stop. Since the introduction of the "LS"1, all the new V8 engines were considered the LS family. The LS1,2,3,6,7,9 is just a performance code for the "performance vehicles". But like I said before, "who cares". They're all good engines, they all swap parts w/ each other, and the all respond great to upgrades compared to the completely different old SBC.

  • @TheDancingKing507 You are a fool. The LS6 was a production engine in the Corvette, and the CTS-V. It is a 5.7L with different oiling, a better intake manifold, and a more aggressive cam. The 6.0 Alum "LS2" may be what you have, but the 6.0 iron block also shares the same dimensions. All parts can interchange between the two as well. The 5.3 could be anything from LMG, to LM7, to LY5, but they are all "LS" engines. Before you make off the wall comments please do some research...

  • the 6.0 is not in the ls1 category, the 6.0 is what is in my GTO and it's an LS2 , completely different engine and the 5.3 is not an LS1 which u put in the vid title it's an LS6, do you even know about cars?

  • get a well worth tune

  • what unit is the oil pressure? (0 / 275 / 550)

  • @misfitracingnj Oh, so you mean "Gen III" not "LS1"?

  • @chevellenut1968

    5.3 are in the ls1 category 5.3 5.7 and 6.0

  • a 5.3 is not a ls1 a lsi is all alum blk and is 5.7 347cid
