This is an interesting and rarely seen event: a police car escorting a civilian car through red lights. If anyone has any idea what is going on here let me know :-) . The cars are traveling south on West End avenue at about 71st street. Also I should note that it was 6:00 am.

@natedawg809 the front plate is a novelty plate with a new york yankees symbol on it from what i can tell, and there appears to be a plate on the rear, albeit with a cover that has a semi dark tint, in new york two licence plates are required, my best guess would be that the car is from out of state, for example pennsylvania.
