Mark Dayton "WorkingTogether"

In Mark Dayton's Inaugural Speech he mentions "Working Together" 13 times. He even said that if the legislature can put a balanced budget on his desk without raising taxes he would sign it. And that is just what the Legislature did, and they even increased spending by 5%. But Mark Dayton didn't sign it like he said he would. Because also in his inaugural speech said he would insist that Minnesota's tax burden becomes more "Progressive". So much for "Working Together".

Dayton's campaign promises to raise taxes on a minority were in jeopardy when in an historic turn of events MN elected a very Red house and senate majority. Dayton saw the writing on the wall that the new reps would defend ALL citizens of MN, not just the majority as Dayton does. That is when Dayton gave his hypocrisy laden speech about "working together". What he means by "working together" is "do what I say". He was given a balanced budget and veto'ed it cause it didn't raise taxes.
