raptors are trail bikes, top end heavy low end power i gess.
the yfz 450 is a snappy high revving race bike.
I have an 09 yfz 450r and i smoke raptors .

@tiguy225 the only raptor that you can race is the 250. the 350 is a pile, the 660 n the 700 are not meant for taking hard turns and the 450 has the best power to weight ratio n will beat a 660 or 700 on or off the track. yfz is the way to go no matter what.

im happy to see that youre still riding a yamaha! blue power!!! but just a question like that do you think youre raptor can did a better job with suspension mod,because i saw that you didnt have the gas shocks in the front like my 2009...maybe this is why your frame cracked... of course a 450 is way better for mx but the raptor seems to be pretty good too

@tiguy225 2009 raptors shocks are much better and its good bike all around but you will never make a race bike from raptor ;/

you should soften up your shock , reduce the rebound...and too much preload....
your bike boucing around like crazy....try the softest setup on everything and you go from there...youl see a huge diff in handling.....sick bike dude...
