Tool-assisted "speedrun" of the final release of Sonic 1 Megamix. This speedrun is going to be unoptimized, but will at least be somewhat fast. Each bit will be put up one zone at a time.
This is a tool-assisted speedrun, utilizing savestates and slowdown to produce an inhumanly fast playthrough of the game. The main intention of this type of speedrun is to show entertainment as well as blistering speed.

It's a bonus level. You skip all act 4s when playing through the game.

i was talking about when playing in the "extra" mode.

Although my guess is no, anyway.

The only things "Extra" mode does is give you only one life and replace all invincibility and speed shoe monitors with "S" monitors, turning the character super when hitting it.

yeess AND add act 4 to all levels, which are after the boss acts. Problem is at least half of those things aren't complete.

so i guess my question is, rephrased, does a level skipping cheat exist in megamix so that i can use it to skip the incomplete ones?

I hadn't played Extra mode at all, so I just went by what I saw on the first level.

There's a level select code, which is the same as the one in Sonic 1, but no "skip level" code.

I love the Act 1's music. Makes me wish I'm on a holiday on a beach or an island.
