@quidnick Here's a thought: Philosophically speaking, it would be ok for someone to be as rich as they want, as long as other people don't die of starvation at the same time. It is about morality.

But even in the real world there is a problem with being rich. Rich people are usually not rich because they are smart and charismatic, and "losers" aren't losers because they're dumb. Wealth distribution is not equal, but even if that's ok with you, it is not fair either.

can't people who make money keep it? Why do I have to pay for roads that losers use. Please explain to me, oh wise progressive masters, why the kid who studies in public school gets the same degree as the weed dealer. Why do taxes rise but less is done to uphold infrastructure that some government acronym quickly built 50 years ago. Did the last remnants of big business creativity succumb to cancer? Where has the value of money gone? Oh... and what's the weather? HAARP says 76 deg. and sunny.

@VoiceOfModeration What do you mean? Kind of weird to say something like that an not offer an explanation. Al Gore won the popular vote, and I am sure we can both agree that that isn't a "win" in and of itself because of the way our archaic electoral system is. The argument was over whether Gore won FL, and who knows? The other side had to sue to stop the counting of votes, and surprise, every SCOTUS judge voted party lines. Gore lost, but only through devious tactics

I love watching Tom Morello feign sympathy for victims of lynching and Capital Punishment when he himself is a fanatical supporter of the biggest mass murderers and tyrants of the past 500 years.

The Death Penalty is immoral and wrong, unless, y'know, like Che or Lenin or someone have to do it to preserve the glorious ideals of totalitarian-collectivism. DERP!
