@anokah it's actually very similar to Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese; all being Northern Germanic languages. Finnish is a Baltic language related to Estonian.

@spookygothu tho i have yet to hear it her very first album that she recorded when she was around 11 or 12 may be in her native language however there is another album she sings almost entirely icelandic with the exception of maybe one or two songs it is called Gling Glo and it is all jazz style very good if you like bjork and if you like jazz i definately recommend it

@merger1987 Well, icelandic is totally different from norwegian, swedish and danish. More like those languages were a thousand years ago. But, yes, finnish is from a different language group. Slavic? Anyways :P

She is the most amazeing thing that have appeared to the electronic scene as of voice and art, no need for much but she should release an entire album in her native language, this is awesome,i just wish, icelandic sounds really cool ^_^
icelandic is like norwegian, swedish, and danish languages. they are germanic languages...
finnish is completely different, it is said to be similar to hungarian and estonian languages.
