One more thing i would like to add is that this is a VIDEO! No one can say it works or not without actually doing it. The purpose of this video is not to demonstrate a practical technique. A lot of training in a lot of martial arts is not necessarily "practical". This is for demonstration purposes. If you wanna give an opinion, then please be able to back it up with experience and training... Hatsumi is not going to put real training on Youtube for GS.
I am a student of Bujinkan, and i have trained with many different Sensei's. I reckon that the art is what you make of it. If you train with someone who is off on a spiritual rant, then they are losing sight of what they are meant to be teaching. But if you train with someone who is down to earth and practical, then Ninjutsu can be used to great effect and cause a lot of damage. It would not be here if it didnt work. Thats cause the people who did things wrong in the early days, DIED.
its funny, i can't count the number of times i've seen ex-bujinkan posting comments saying this martial art doesn't really work. whats so fake about it, some of thes techniques seem quite practical.
yeah, but it seriously seems to me using pressure point attacks, eye gouges, ripping muscle and nerve strikes are all invaluable skills to have. don't you think bujinkan should be train with other arts such as muay thai and bjj to get a complete overview of techniques.
You do not train in Bujinkan, and never have. If you did, you would realise its effectiveness in a real life situation, as well as what it was created for.
